FORUM MEDIA WIRD ENSIDER

FORUM MEDIA BECOMES ENSIDER

Founded in 1982, the "Forum Media Academy for Further Education, Production, Marketing and Event GmbH" was part of various media groups for many years and supplemented their specialist journalistic content with networking events, further training offers and conferences. Since February 2021, the company has been trading under the name "Ensider.net GmbH" and is thus merging with the "Ensider" newsletter format established by International Film Partners (IFP). This means that for the first time, all digital IFP offers for filmmakers, creatives, production companies and service providers are bundled under one address.

Ensider.de is the logical further development of our competencies in the digital space. Finally, all relevant information for filmmakers is on one website. The regularly published industry-specific articles shed light on current aspects of the media industry, especially for managers. A new important pillar is the digital networking area, which enables communication across national borders and despite pandemic restrictions. However, the established conferences and the continuing education offerings are what give Ensider.net GmbH its profile. Marco Biedendorf was given power of attorney, and Markus Vogelbacher replaces Julia Tanz in the management team.

Ensider:Forum The "Film Industry Forum" has been presenting all legal and economic framework conditions once a year for decades. The "Talent Summit" focuses on the central processes and resources of creative works, artists and those who look after them. With the "FMC" formats (Forum Media Conference), additional special events on law or TV & Digital complement the program.

Ensider:Lounge The advantages of blended networking were already established last year. Flexible times and the reduction in travel time, accommodation costs and environmental impact ensure that important opportunities for exchange are maintained. The industry functions through projects and project work. New jobs and orders often arise at festivals, industry events and premieres. Physical forms of communication are simulated in the Ensider:Lounge at virtual tables or through speed dating.

Ensider:Akademie Data protection, occupational safety and financing training remain an integral part of the continuing education offering. The Ensider:Academy also stands for content that is rarely discussed in industry media, but is all the more controversial. Why is the new weapons law important for anyone who handles decorative weapons? Why can cash transactions when renting filming motifs or toy vehicles have criminal consequences? Many special topics such as temporary employment and status determination procedures are not consistently present among decision-makers. The academy quickly provides a remedy here.

Especially for production employees On-boarding training courses are offered that enable an adequate risk policy and modern compliance management. For large companies, there are therefore special conditions and other services in the non-public area of the website. Here, so-called "servants", i.e. utility programs, support the everyday work of production managers, producers and executives through smart technology.

Ensider:News The trade news that is typical in the USA, especially for management, boards of directors or production managers, is harder to find in Germany. Legal issues are reliably dealt with by the producers' associations; however, practical business facts are often overlooked. Otherwise, one will also search in vain for issues that affect managers personally. "Loneliness at the top" is a key word, or pragmatic recommendations in the seemingly over-regulated everyday life of producers.

In the future, you will be informed about all of these topics and offers on Ensider.de and, of course, via Ensider:News. If you have any specific questions or suggestions, we will be happy to help.
