Managing Director / Studio Hamburg Enterprises GmbH
Tania Reichert-Facilides has been Managing Director of Studio Hamburg Enterprises since August 2019. The company, part of the Studio Hamburg Group, operates as a media distributor and co-financier for programs and has a purchasing and exploitation mandate from NDR.
After studying international business administration at the EAP, Ecole d'Affaires de Paris, she began her professional career at the French cosmetics company L'Oréal. In 1994 she moved to Universum Film (Bertelsmann) and was responsible for film distribution activities in Germany as managing director from 1997 to 2010. In this position, she expanded the business portfolio to include theatrical distribution, digital distribution and co-financing activities. She then worked as a producer with her own production company, Freebird Pictures, in children's films and in the field of animation until 2019 and founded the location lobby agency Animation Germany with the Producers Alliance and the VTFF, which was taken over by German Films and is continued.
