Andrea Peters has been managing director of Theaterkunst GmbH since January 2021. Previously, she was responsible for media:net Berlin Brandenburg as chairwoman of the board from 2008 to the end of 2020.
The traditional company Theaterkunst was founded in 1907 and has been equipping national and international cinema, TV, advertising and theater productions ever since. With 10 million costume pieces, uniforms and accessories from all eras, it is Germany's largest collection of its kind. The company is also represented on the international film scene with subsidiaries in Budapest and Warsaw, which are also managed by Andrea Peters as managing director. Costume designers have an endless selection to choose from.
Every year, theater costumes are used in over 1,000 film and series productions, such as FABIAN OR THE GONE TO THE DOGS, SCHACHNOVELLE, NAHSCHUSS, BABYLON BERLIN, DARK, ELDORADO KADEWE, DARK or DAS QUEEN'S GAMBIT.
